What is the Tech Radar?

Jack Plowman's Tech Radar is a list of technologies, complemented by an assessment result, called ring assignment. We use four rings with the following semantics:

• EXPERIENCED — Technologies I am proficient in, currently utilizing in both main and side projects. I am skilled with these and aim to enhance my expertise further.
• TRIAL — Technologies I am actively learning and using in projects or side projects.
• WATCH — Technologies I am interested in exploring further and may consider for future projects.
• MAINTAIN — Technologies I currently use or have used in the past, but do not plan to adopt for new projects.

What is the purpose?

The Tech Radar is a tool to visualize technology understanding to inspire and support tech choices on Jack Plowman's future projects.
